We’re building Olalo around beautiful yarn and the pleasure of creating something by hand. Our first chapter is Silk Mohair; cashmere is part of our vision for the future.

Keep the softness.

A little care for your knitted pieces. Always follow the care instructions supplied with your specific yarn or finished item.

Wash gently

Where hand washing is recommended, use cool water and a suitable gentle detergent. Avoid rubbing, twisting or wringing; press water out carefully.

Dry with patience

Reshape gently and lay flat to dry, away from direct heat. Avoid hanging a wet knitted piece, which may stretch it.

Store thoughtfully

Make sure your piece is clean and fully dry before storing. Fold rather than hang, and protect from moths during longer storage.
